On the way to a wedding spotted this dumped by the side of the resting area ..

Dunno what went wrong .. but from the look of it a terrible mishap happened and it burst into flame. Hope the occupant of this vehicle managed to get out of it alive ..

But I believe it was due to my toying with the manual exposure & slow shutter speed also playing around with the post processing .. but hey .. it did the trick right .. nowadays a few minutes with the camera is really a blessing since I'm so tied up with my job .. huhu

The sun and the shadow really can play tricks with your camera ..

With no dSLR in hand, just an old compact, I took this during my Hajj this year. This was at the Masjid Nabawi in Madinah. The evening sun just lit up the mosque and cast a shadow of the commercial building behind on the marble floor. As if the mosque was made from gold which caused goosebump on me ..

My house cat Tiger kicked the bucket ..

He was fine before I left for my Hajj. Got the message from my daughters a few days before I was scheduled back to homeland. Few minutes before that saw a cat that looked like him in Madinah. Never really thought of anything before the message.

1. Top-of-the-line camera gears

Canon 1Ds with all the accessories - lenses/speedlite/everything. Won't be able to buy all that in my lifetime but hey .. it's worth the dream right ?

2. Trip to the Eastern Europe

Really want to go to these places due to the fact that it got all the breathtaking sceneries and historical places. It'll be a bonus if the wife & children could tag along. You're nowhere without you love ones.

3. Travel in style

VIP treatment all the way. Jetsetting around the world won't be completely enjoy if you have to do all the hardwork!

4. Cash to spend

Gotta buy something for the guys back home right ? What is better than spending without worrying of breaking the bank ..

What's the use of all the photos taken without sharing it! It was over & done yesterday ..

After months of preparation and many sleepless nights (house was under refurbishment), my niece's engagement came without any hitches. A short drizzling was all the suspense for the day. Was getting rusty after so long the camera just sitting in the drybox but hey .. I managed to pull out some new tricks. Didn't get to fully use the wireless transmitter though ..

Sunday drive with the family ..

Since the kids had done up all their homeworks, we decided to go for a drive. Drove up to Port Klang. We thought that the Muara Seafood was open in the afternoon. Damn .. wrong instinct .. So it ended up we made a u-turn back to the city for nasi kandar at pelita near KLCC.

Not the end of the story yet .. we shoot back to PJ One Utama (the kids demanded it) and we stayed there for the rest of the evening ..

As I was walking along streets of London, I can't help to realize that people prefer to walk here. As the Oxford Street was jammed pack with buses, cars and other motorized vehicles, the Tube was the best option. As I walked past the street (in front of Hamley's), I spotted this Zara/Ferarri outlet sporting a bright red windows dressing. As I was lining up to take the shot, people were zipping & walking in front of me. So I just set a delayed shutter ..

After taking a shower, with the wife & kids just waiting for me to get ready (hehe), we rushed down for the seaside BBQ.

Luckily we already booked a table, otherwise we have to wait for a free seat .. maybe after all the food is finish .. pheww .. There's a special treat that day for it's a Chinese New Year which fell on my birthday .. got birthday cakes from my family and the hotel .. so sweet of them.

Anyway, this 2 guys performance got a rousing appalause from the crowd for their fire-eating gig .. and they're not from Hawaii or even skinhead Red Indians .. just 2 local guys ..

All of the sudden, I got this idea of making them a "shadow" coz it's such an extremely sunny day and the pic definately will turn out to be darken under the shade.

Couple years back, we went to Sunway Lagoon for a day in the theme park. Since it was a weekend, it was kinda crowded, with the school holiday and all .. spotted this 2 guys been having the water therapy since we came .. using a non-IS tele lens (55-200mm) really did had a lot of handicap .. especially trying to keep the camera dry from the crowd (kids & adults alike) ..

Getting the Canon 400D to work overtime just not enuff it seems. Barely 2 hours touched down in London, we went to Whiteleys Mall to escape the sub-zero London temperature for the ladies shopping therapy.

Don't worry .. it's not a ghost pic ..

Just trying to test the limit of the IS (Image Stabilizer) function on the lens. Using handheld shots for a slow shutter speed really quite a pain. Luckily with IS (for Nikon it's VR) I was able to shoot the scene. To get the eerie feeling, I did it in black & white.

The location was the Gold Tower (old Dubai).

Found this Arab beriyani that was recommended by a friend who worked there. Quite mouth watering indeed .. and the best thing is one plate of this beriyani (with a BIG chunk of fried chicken) can feed 2 persons .. with a price of one ..

Even though I've a DSLR, taking picture with any other means of photography thrills me.

Used to use a film P&S, compact & prosumer even a camera phone, I do take pictures whenever I see a scenery worth a shot. This shot was taken with my now defunct SE K800i from my 17th floor office building. I loved the building up of the cloud and the contrasting lighting effect during the sunny day.

And Sony Ericsson really do make a good cybershot cameraphone .. but it just don't last long .. why eh ?

Been trying to start this project long ago .. since I bought my 1st DSLR camera .. Canon EOS 400D.

Not really a great camera, but hey .. for a small budget couple with a beginner status like me, it was worth it. Even though not as flexible as the high-end DSLR which cost like a modified compact car, it serves me well .. so far. Don't really have a huge lense arsenal yet, just an 18-55mm IS, 55-200mm & a 50mm to kickstart my hobby/passion .. whatever .. el-cheapo lenses some might say .. but I want to learn from the bottom .. not to starve myself ..

So .. welcome to my gallery y'all ..
