Was looking up to the sky when it looked like some monster was hurtling itself down to earth. Incidently, storm was brewing that evening, with distance thunder and all .. took out the Cookie and snap it before it change the formation ..

Sunday drive with the family ..

Since the kids had done up all their homeworks, we decided to go for a drive. Drove up to Port Klang. We thought that the Muara Seafood was open in the afternoon. Damn .. wrong instinct .. So it ended up we made a u-turn back to the city for nasi kandar at pelita near KLCC.

Not the end of the story yet .. we shoot back to PJ One Utama (the kids demanded it) and we stayed there for the rest of the evening ..

A Night Before Christmas ..

Oxford Street on Christmas Eve ..

Surprisingly almost an empty street that night. Most shops closed down early and the buses are going back to the depot. Was enjoying my Zeynah's fish & chips by the roadside as the hustle & bustle of Oxford Street slowly going down to a mute level. And it's only 6.30pm as I recalled ..

This view was from the Tower Bridge. Was expecting to get a different view of the river, but the temperature dropped so low that I can't even felt my finger to the shutter once I took out the gloves. But hey .. it was a nice weather that morning after all .. to be fair since it was drizzling all day (a day before that) ..

Rushing for Christmas ..

As I was walking along streets of London, I can't help to realize that people prefer to walk here. As the Oxford Street was jammed pack with buses, cars and other motorized vehicles, the Tube was the best option. As I walked past the street (in front of Hamley's), I spotted this Zara/Ferarri outlet sporting a bright red windows dressing. As I was lining up to take the shot, people were zipping & walking in front of me. So I just set a delayed shutter ..

Calm evening in London ..

Was enjoying some time alone in Central London during the winter visit last year .. and it was Christmas eve. Got a few hours left before all the shops & transportation shutdown. Luckily Edgware Road was just a walking distance. A week in London can make you feel at home .. but colder ...

Common Goal ..

The family was visited by my niece's boyfriend relative for ritual consent - the "hantar tanda" ..

The boyfriend's parent came with a mission for an agreement of an engagement date. All went well and mission accomplished with all smiles at the end of the day.

Next .. an engagement date sometime in June, insyaallah ..

Attention !! ..

Went to this school uniformed bodies competion where my daughter took part ..

That wasn't her, but the girl looked tired since it involved a lot of discipline, especially marching in the hot morning sun till afternoon.

Playing With Macros ..

Since flowers are one of the easiest .. tested it at a 200mm at f5.6 I think .. will post some more of my macro shots in due time ..

This was shot at some concert by those reality show guys/gals. Since I got a backstage pass but not an official photographer, I just can't do much. But with the smoke & water sprinkler was working, I just took out the camera and took a few shots .. undetected hehe ..

Using my tele lens 55-200mm, spotted this kid with dejection written all over his face after the finish line. Probably due to exhaustion from the run. It was a hot sunny morning anyway on that day ..

Took this picture out of the blue. She was pissed iff with something as I was playing around with the strobe (doing CLS) .. kinda exciting this technique .. just need a wireless transmitter which will enable your strobe (flash) anywhere within range away from the hotshoe.

A Cat Called Tiger ..

My daughter's friend gave it to us. He was a half-breed 10 months old at that time. Loved his energy at that time .. until he found his mate ..

This is as wide as it get for an 18-55mm lens. With the cloud was looking friendly enough to sit at the background of the mosque, it adds dramatically the panorama of the picture ..

During a photoshoot at Putrajaya with friends way back in 2008, saw this torn-up flag high on the center pole.

It speaks for itself. Hope by this time they change it to a new one ..
